I don't care much for the term "referral fee". I prefer to think that you're setting up a little independent business of your own and that I'm your product. What you earn depends on the amount of effort you put into it. The sky is the limit. Go for the moon!
What do you have to offer writers? A pretty good deal, that's what. I charge writers one fee to edit their screenplay. With that edit they receive unlimited, on-going, consultation, for one full year - at no extra cost.
Instruct writers to include your name and address with their cover letter, so I will know where to direct your check. A block of text appears to your left, under the "contact me" link, that you may cut and paste. A hot link to "Script Editing Services" is included.
If you'd rather not release your personal information to others, just share your contact information with me. Tell your writer-clients to include your name with their cover letter. I will already have your mailing address in my files.
I help them, you help me to help them, and you'll be helping yourself to a nice little extra income!
